HKPC Academy is organising an overseas training for Hong Kong SMEs to acquire knowledge about sustainability & reindustrialisation by applying 3D printing technology to FoodTech, HealthTech and GreenTech. Through learning from the local institutions & technology organisations, SMEs can enrich their experience and skills in adopting 3D Printing technology in an innovative way.
Course Description
FoodTech, HealthTech and GreenTech are fast-growing and booming industries with high potential and business opportunities. The technology’s advancement in daily life helps build a sustainable world.
The development of 3D printing has brought us to a new era, enabling us to create things that were previously unimaginable. Engineers have been trying to utilise 3D printing in all aspects of life, including constructions, food, human organs, sustainable coral, etc. With the technology continues to evolve, more high-speed, large scale, and precise 3D printing technologies have been developed. But how is 3D printing changing our everyday life?
Israel continues to shine as the Start-Up Nation and a leader in high technology, the country is also becoming a powerhouse in the development of 3D printing applications. United Arab Emirates has recently announced that it aims to make Dubai the world’s “3D-printing hub” by 2030, with target to 3D-print 25% of all new buildings in the city.
