Manufacturing and researching lightweight material is a key technology to achieve industrial upgrading and transformation. Excellent materials can aid manufacturers to produce high performance and durable products and thus improve their competitiveness. This training programme focuses on advanced material and component manufacture technologies, by visiting top institutes and enterprises from material engineering sector in Japan, advanced materials and key component manufacture technologies in global vision can be deeply learned.

Japan border control policy (may further change)

  • Receive three doze from WHO Listing  (including BioNTech / Sinovac / BIBP, available for mix) ;
  • Fill in questionnaire from Visit Japan Web.

(For travelers visited Mainland China within 7 days, exclude Hong Kong and Macau:)

  • Before flight, compulsory Covid-19 test in specified method;
  • After landing, test at airport and wait for result.

Hong Kong border control policy

  • No requirements for HK residents, two doze required for other travelers (including BioNTech / Sinovac / BIBP, available for mix);
  • Self RAT test within 24 hours, save result for 90 days;
  • Fill in questionnaire in voluntary basis.
  • After landing, continuous self RAT test until 5th day (suggestion).

Course Introduction

This training course would invite experts from famous material researching institutes and enterprises from Japan to share the latest advanced alloy, composite and ceramic material processing and testing technologies. Through face-to-face learning from world-leading researching and manufacturing bases, applications about innovative material and relating technologies on fabrication process of high value-added components could be discovered.

This course will covers lightweight material, advance alloy for vehicle, material for 3C product, advanced ceramic, advanced metal joining technology, eco-friendly composite material, etc. Speakers are come from leading institutes and enterprises around Japan, including Osaka University Joining and Welding Research Institute, Nippon Steel Corporation, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Kyocera Corporation, Hong Kong Productivity Council, etc.
