Online-to-Offline is  a new business model that gained a  lot  of  traction  in  recent  two years. It brings customer’s attention from offline to online, and vice versa. It brings immense excitement by creating a wide spectrum of new innovative business models/services across industries.

While O2O concepts start from retail business space, this big momentum actually spread to Government and Public Services including hospitals, housing, tourism, education, logistics, finance and many more services. The possibility of O2O is indeed enabled by the emerging technologies including mobile application, RFID, QR-cdoe, Sensors and Internet-of-Thing.

This course reviews O2O business models across industries through a high-level system and technology architecture devised in O2O applications. It also discusses more hands-on details on typical emerging technologies such as mobile android programming, push notification, mobile development in SoLoMo, wireless sensors, RFID, ibeacon and HTML5 technologies.
