    Course Objectives

    Resilience with Mindfulness offers a structured approach to understanding and managing stress through mindfulness practices rooted in neuroscience. The course begins with sensory awareness exercises and interactive activities to enhance self-awareness and mind-body connection. You’ll gain insights into how stress impacts your physical and emotional states via animated explanations and real-world case discussions. Guided meditations focus on grounding, breathing, and recovery techniques to help you find balance under pressure. Additionally, you’ll explore various coping strategies mindfully and reflect on how to integrate them into your daily routine. Designed for professionals seeking practical stress resilience skills, this course blends scientific understanding with experiential learning to foster lasting well-being and workplace effectiveness.

    Trainer

    Karson Ka-Shun Wong (黃嘉信)

    Karson Wong is an IMTA Certified Mindfulness Teacher offering 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programs, organizational mindfulness, mindful performance training courses & leading regular meditation practice groups and retreats in English and Cantonese for the general public, corporates, universities & schools, athletes, psychotherapy & health care centers and teenagers in Hong Kong. He has been practicing mindfulness since 2011, completing multiple 10-day long vipassana meditation silent retreats and volunteering in meditation courses for kids.

    Karson is also a Certified Mindful Performance Enhancement, Awareness & Knowledge (mPEAK) Coach of UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness. He is currently pursuing advanced mindfulness teacher training at Brown University Mindfulness Center.

    Having managed his own e-commerce business and worked as a marketing manager at HKUST Business School, Karson is passionate about how mindfulness enhances and cultivates the well-being and resilience of modern busy people and students in this digital era and a multicultural setting. He runs www.MindfulOcean.com to provide his audience with educational information and insights related to mindfulness and emotional intelligence. He also currently serves as the Secretary of Hong Kong Mindfulness Teachers Network. Karson graduated with a Master of Science in Psychology at the University of Glasgow, UK and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from City University of Hong Kong.
