About this Programme
This module provides an overview of sustainable practices in wastewater management. Participants will explore the fundamental principles of wastewater treatment, including the different stages of treatment and their importance in protecting public health and the environment.

Programme Structure and Outline
*To be eligible for a government subsidy for your application fee, you must complete all 10 modules and achieve a minimum attendance of 70% across the training hours. Upon meeting these criteria, you are eligible to apply for a reimbursement of 2/3 of your course fees.

Level of Recognition
Participants will receive certificates of completion for each module attended. You will also have the opportunity to earn higher levels of recognition:
- Green Business Leader – After completion of 1 course in each category.
- Green Business Pioneer – After completion of 2 courses in each category.
- Green Business Champion – After completion of all courses in each category.

Module Instructor
Prof. Zhiguo Yuan is a Chair Professor at the School of Energy and Environment at City University of Hong Kong. Prof Yuan is a Global STEM Professor, a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering, and a Distinguished Fellow of the International Water Association. His research focuses on innovative solutions for urban water management through effective integration of fundamental science and engineering. He is the founder of three biotechnology businesses. He is a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher, and Editor-in-Chief of Water Research X. As a lecturer, he was actively involved in continuing professional development in Australia for over 20 years.
