HKPC GBA FutureSkills Centre 

Hong Kong Productivity Council has established the GBA FutureSkills Centre in Chinese Mainland to better support the development of Hong Kong enterprises and cultivate future talent. This initiative aims to address the evolving international and domestic market environments, complementing the HKSAR Government’s efforts to promote new industrialisation and the integrated development of the Greater Bay Area (GBA).

The Centre offers a diverse array of programmes, including Study Missions, Senior Management / International Certification Programmes, Corporate Training, and the GBA InnoPreneur Network Forums.

As New Productive Forces emerge as a key driver of economic development in the GBA, we are committed to nurturing talent in emerging industries and assisting businesses in enhancing their core competitiveness. Our goal is to accelerate the digital transformation of enterprises while fostering talent development and exploring business opportunities within the GBA. 

Programme Type

1. GBA Study Mission

The Centre collaborates with enterprises and universities in the GBA region to organise customised study mission featuring the latest trends in business and industry. These tours offer participants a valuable opportunity to broaden their horizons and gain insights into talent development and career planning. 

2. Senior Management / International Certification Programmes 

The Centre collaborates with international organisations and training institutes to offer international certification programmes to chief executives, senior managers and middle managers in the GBA region, in order to enhance participants’ skills and knowledge with international and professional standards.

3. Corporate Training  

Corporate training, featuring case studies and advanced industry knowledge, is delivered by HKPC’s consultants and international industry experts to accelerate business development. 

4. GBA InnoPreneur Network 

GBA InnoPreneur Network aims at providing a platform for SMEs and startups in the GBA region to exchange on new technology applications, industry pain points/ innovative ideas and entrepreneurial stories. Further, it supports go-to-market strategies with a resourceful network of manufacturers, industry advisors, and Government funding assistance to help SMEs in technology transformation and commercialisation of startup projects. We regularly organise forums focused on technologies in different industries to generate new insights, foster a network and learn culture, and create new business opportunities for a new era of Industrialisation.
