    “New Industrialisation” emphasises being driven by informatisation, realised through elements such as creativity and innovation, intelligence and digitalisation, high technological content, and future-oriented skills. It also enhances sustainable development capabilities — from design, production, usage, sales to recycling, the entire product lifecycle prioritises reducing resource consumption and environmental pollution. This achieves industrial value addition and long-term economic development while protecting the ecological environment.
    The Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) provides comprehensive support to the industry and launches the “Advanced ‘New Industrialisation’ Training Programme: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics”. This programme helps the industry, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), seize new opportunities, enhance competitiveness, and align with the country’s high-quality development.
