Inspire Green STEAM Education
As climate change accelerates the global green transition, new energy technologies are advancing rapidly. Hong Kong is also progressing towards its goal of achieving carbon neutrality before 2050.
This programme equips primary and secondary school teachers with knowledge of new energy technologies and industry developments. It supports the integration of low-carbon concepts, STEAM education and digital-learning elements into school-based curricula and teaching activities, inspiring future green-technology talent with environmental responsibility and a global outlook.
Course Highlight
This programme is built around the theme of “Understanding Technology, Exploring Industry, Inspiring Teaching,” covering modules on new energy technologies, new energy vehicles and the hydrogen industry.
Participants will explore cutting-edge developments such as green hydrogen, energy storage, electric vehicles and fuel cells, gaining insight into low-carbon transition trends through technology showcases and real-world application cases. The course also integrates STEAM education, digital tools and inquiry-based learning, empowering teachers to bring new energy knowledge, environmental values and innovative thinking into their school-based teaching.

Trainer Profile
Mr Ralph Xu is Head, Green Transportation at Centre of Advanced Power and Autonomous Systems (APAS), Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC). He is equipped with solid background of automotive industry and electric vehicle development. He has been working in automotive industry for 20 years, with profound experience in R&D, manufacturing and quality control. He is now focusing on new energy transportation including EV and hydrogen energy technology.
